I’m Head of IT at youknow GmbH in Munich. Over 20+ years I’ve grown from an IT apprentice into a leader who builds and runs IT — across corporate learning, healthcare, consulting (BCG Platinion) and telecommunications.
My thing is taking messy or outsourced IT and turning it into something stable, secure and clear. I care less about chasing tools and more about the people who actually use them: fewer bottlenecks, less noise, more focus.
At youknow I insourced the entire IT, built the internal team, rolled out Microsoft 365, integrated an acquired company (M&A) and raised IT satisfaction from 4.3 to 4.76 / 5. I’m largely self-taught and learn fastest in public — that’s what the blog is for.
